Nutri Pharma`s Weight Management Product Provides More Weight Loss Than Slim Fast

Nutri Pharma’s low energy diet (LED) was reported, at the European Congress on Obesity (ECO) in Helsinki, to provide more weight loss than the Slim Fast meal replacement product (MRP). In addition serum cholesterol and LDL-cholesterol were significantly lower with Nutri Pharma’s soy based LED compared to Slim Fast’s milk based MRP. At 6 weeks cholesterol values were decreased by 14% with Nutri Pharma’s soy based LED compared to 8% for the milk based MRP.

Additionally, two further studies presented at the ECO, demonstrate the benefits of Nutri Pharma’s soy technology in the areas of weight management and cholesterol reduction.


Nutri Pharma`s Weight Management Product Lowered Total- and LDL Cholesterol Levels Significantly Further Than Weight-loss From Other Diets

A meta-analysis conducted at the University of Kentucky, Lexington, Kentucky, USA has shown that Nutri Pharma’s soy based very low energy diet (VLED) lowered total-and LDL cholesterol levels significantly further than weight-loss from other diets. Literature from 1980-2001 was reviewed. Out of the 207 publications studied 47 met the criteria - 4 meal replacement (MR), 6 energy-restricted diet (ERD), 10 low-energy diet (LED), 7 soy very-low-energy diets (SOY) and 20 VLED studies.


Abacor® Significantly Decreased Total Cholesterol and LDL Cholesterol Compared to the Control Group

The third study - conducted at the Department of Human Nutrition, Centre for Advanced Food Studies (LMC), in Denmark - documented that Abacor®, Nutri Pharma’s cholesterol lowering dietary supplement significantly decreased total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol compared to the control group. Treatment difference was 15.5% and 14.3% respectively.
